"le Standard" Roll-top Desk With American-style Drawer Unit, Made Of Maple

A magnificent curcurt-style desk from the "Le Standard" brand, dating from the 1930s.
Rare in this type of wood—maple with a lemon-tree hue.
It retains its beautiful original patina, which has been carefully restored in our workshop.
It is fully functional; the curtain slides smoothly, and it locks with the original lock.
The upper section of the desk is closed by a curtain that, when opened, reveals a beautiful workspace with plenty of storage and drawers.
Underneath the top, there are two pull-out drawers.
The lower section consists of two cabinets: the one on the left has 4 drawers, and the one on the right has 3, including a double drawer at the bottom for storing file folders.
The back of the piece is just as attractive as the front; it can be used as a room divider.
It can be disassembled into three parts: the top section and the two storage units.
Its dimensions in cm: 128 x 82. Height ranges from 77 at the tabletops to 127

This piece is practical, authentic, and highly decorative. It fits perfectly into both vintage/industrial decor and more modern interiors as a characterful centerpiece.

This item is also on display in my store in Morbihan, in southern Brittany, where you can pick it up if you’d like.
