A superb antique 19th-century travel writing case made of mahogany, adorned with brass trim and hardware.
It features a secret drawer beneath the case.
The lid opens to reveal a refined interior lined with antique green felt. It also features several storage compartments, some of which include accessories (included): a silver-plated inkwell, a silver-plated powder shaker, a pen holder, and pens, as well as compartments for letters and correspondence.
The lock is functional and comes with its key.
The wood has a beautiful patina.
