Manufacture Honoré - Antique White And Gold Porcelain Chafing Dish, Restored - Signed
The Honoré Manufactory, successor to Dagoty, was a Parisian porcelain manufacturer initially located on Boulevard Saint-Antoine, then on Boulevard des Poissonnières in Paris. Édouard Honoré had a workshop in Paris and, beginning in 1824, transferred the production of unglazed porcelain to Champroux, in the Allier department, while retaining his Parisian workshop for decoration. Our platter dates from this period.
It is in excellent condition—over 200 years old and virtually like new. The gilding shows no wear, and there are no chips or cracks.
