Pair Of English Planters Made Of Silver-plated Metal
An elegant pair of planters or small English flowerpots in silver-plated metal, dating from the Edwardian period. The globular body features a beautiful, fully hammered surface. It is embellished with applied scrollwork and rocaille motifs, blue glass cabochons, and an openwork upper border. Each planter rests on three small, curved feet. In good overall condition considering its age. Patina, scratches, localized wear on the silver plating, and minor irregularities or distortions in the openwork border.
