Pierre Eugène Montézin (1874–1946) was one of the great French Post-Impressionist painters, a member of the Académie des Beaux-Arts, and a recipient of the Prix de Rome. His landscapes, characterized by a vibrant color palette, sensitively capture the light and vegetation of the French countryside. His works are featured in numerous museums and regularly appear in major auctions.
