Richard Durando-Togo (born in 1910 in Buenos Aires) is a painter of Argentine origin who spent most of his life in Italy and France, where he settled permanently in 1934. In 1968, Richard received the “Grand Prix international de la Peinture.” He is a self-taught artist with a highly personal style, creating paintings of light and shadow in which light and dark are often juxtaposed to create an atmosphere of mystery.
