A handwritten note on the stretcher on the back of the painting mentions that this work was exhibited at the Mostra Firenze.

This work comes with its original frame from the Swiss German company Knöll in Basel.
A label is affixed to the back of the work, on the frame.

Condition:

The canvas has a few surface losses in the paint layer.

However, the work remains clearly legible.



The frame would also require restoration but remains in satisfactory condition.

Restoration of both the artwork and the frame would have been entirely feasible but was not carried out in order to preserve the artwork and frame in their strictly original condition.
