Two First-aid Kits From The Late 18th Century
Two lovely late 18th-century medicine boxes covered in wallpaper and adorned with pretty labels also made of wallpaper. A second handwritten label was pasted over the original label on one of the boxes.
One of the two colored bands on the lid echoes the reddish-orange ochre of the branches in the wallpaper, while the upper band matches the teal blue of the base.
