Sergei Agababian Sedrak (1878–1974)—a Russian artist of Armenian descent. He studied at the Moscow School of Fine Arts and at the Imperial Academy of Fine Arts in Saint Petersburg. In 1926, he emigrated to France with his wife as an opera singer. Closely connected to the Montparnasse art scene, he specialized in landscape painting. He regularly exhibited his works at the Salon des Indépendants. His solo exhibitions led to numerous sales of works to private collectors as well as French galleries, notably the Musée d’Orsay.
