18th-century Emilian Walnut Sideboard
An extraordinary and rare walnut sideboard featuring molded frames and recesses of various proportions, with sides equipped with a hinged door opening onto a compartment and shelves; a simple, clean, and extremely elegant design. A prominent molded cornice featuring multiple tiers of moldings; a cornice-style base with cantilevered feet. A delightful knob with a leaf-shaped pendant that characterizes its Louis XVI style. What makes this sideboard even more extraordinary are its well-proportioned dimensions and its extremely shallow depth, which makes it suitable for use as a sideboard-pantry rather than a cabinet. Entirely original in every part, in excellent condition.
