Louis XVI Period Parisian Double Buffet
Large two-part sideboard forming a display case in green lacquered wood, decorated with leafy friezes, pearl friezes and semi-reliefs of antique-style female leafy trophies in medallions and passementerie motifs. It opens with two drawers and two solid panels at the bottom, and two glazed panels at the top. It is topped by a rectilinear pediment highlighted by a frieze of filleted flutes, musical instrument trophies, friezes of ovals and foliage motifs. Restoration.
