A covered cream jar made of Mennecy soft porcelain, baluster-shaped and resting on a small pedestal, with a side handle.

The domed lid is adorned with small flowering sprigs and topped with a knob shaped like a red fruit resting on raised leaves. The handle is also embellished with pink floral motifs.

The “DV” mark is stamped below the foot, standing for “Duc de Villeroy,” a mark characteristic of the Mennecy manufactory.
