Pair Of Lidded Pots Made Of Marseille Earthenware, Veuve Perrin, 18th Century
A beautiful pair of small lidded pots made of Marseille earthenware, produced by the Veuve Perrin factory, late 18th century.
The polychrome decoration, painted using the “petit feu” technique, depicts lively rural scenes featuring figures in landscapes, embellished with foliage and flowers. The lids are adorned with handles shaped like pink fruits surrounded by leaves in relief. The rims are outlined with a purple fillet.
Each piece bears the monogram “VP” in purple on the reverse, the mark of the Veuve Perrin manufactory in Marseille.

A set of fine quality, with a particularly picturesque and refined design.
