Louis XV-style Chair In Walnut, With Small-polka-dot Fabric, Suitable For A Living Room Or Bedroom, Late 19th Century

A charming little chair, suitable for a bedroom or living room, in the Louis XV style, made of walnut, dating from the late 19th century.
It rests on four curved legs; the two front legs are topped with a subtle scroll motif.
The front rail of the back panel is carved and decorated with a daisy surrounded by leaves.
The central crossbar of the backrest is decorated with the same motif as the belt; the top of the backrest is rounded and embellished with a central cartouche surrounded by two volutes and foliage.
The upholstery is antique but still in good condition; the covering fabric was made using a fine-stitch technique and features a charming floral pattern; it is also antique but remains in very good condition.
