André Brasilier (born 1929) - l'Arbre Jaune (the Yellow Tree), Original Lithograph, 1971
This original color lithograph by André Brasilier, titled L'Arbre jaune, was published in 1971 by the Mourlot studios. Highly representative of the artist's exploration of color and poetic dreamscapes, the composition contrasts the geometric structure of a building facade with the fluid silhouette of a tree in shades of yellow and green.
Condition: In a remarkable state of preservation, with the colors fully retaining their original intensity. The vellum paper is perfectly sound, completely free of foxing, stains, or sun-fading.
The artwork is hand-signed in pencil by the artist in the lower right margin and bears the edition number 151/300 on the left. It is presented in its black frame highlighted with a gold fillet and a mat, the ensemble being ready to hang.
