Charles Ruchot (1871–1954) was a French sculptor active in Paris from the late 19th century through the 1920s. Trained in the world of craftsmanship—his father was a mold maker—he developed a style blending allegory, decorative figures, and stylized animals, often in bronze or regule. He created numerous statuettes, clocks, and decorative pieces, including his famous birds in flight. He later settled in Romainville, where he continued his work until his death in 1954.
