The body is made of burgundy-painted sheet metal, decorated oneach side with a bouquet of flowers; openwork gilded bronze pieces featuringfloral motifs in relief are arranged at the four cardinal points.
The dial, featuringstylized Arabic numerals, is protected by a glass door that opens at thefront for winding.
A gilded metal chain allows it to be hung at thedesired height.
The movement bears the mark: two crossed keyssurmounted by three stars from the clockmaking house "Japy Frères &Cie." Additional mounting hardware on the back.
Made in France, second half of the 19th century.
Good condition, minor pitting on the dial.
