The renowned geologist filmed the active craters of volcanoes in Europe, Asia, and Latin America. The volcanoes visited were Sakurajima and Aso-San in Japan, Taal in the Philippines, Anak Krakatoa, Sumbing and Merapi in Indonesia, Izalco in El Salvador, Stromboli and Etna in Italy, and Faial in Portugal.
