Finely Carved Center Table, Stylized Lyre, Louis XVI Style, Napoleon III Period
Music or library table in lacquered wood, carved on all sides.
It rests on four turned fluted legs joined at the base by an H-shaped spacer decorated in its center with a finely carved stylized lyre. Crosspieces carved with interlacing waves.
Surrounding the top carved with a ribbon frieze.
Good used condition, some small losses, traces of gilding highlights.
Missing the top, probably originally marble.
