A superb Napoleon III-style writing desk, dating from the 19th century, richly decorated with precious wood marquetry.
The tabletop, featuring a central floral design, is adorned with marquetry borders and geometric motifs. Its two folding ends allow the width to be extended to 118.5 cm when the table is fully extended.
The front features a large drawer decorated with foliage and plant motifs in marquetry. The piece rests on four turned and blackened legs, accented with gilded bronze elements and joined by an elegant X-shaped brace.
A refined and particularly decorative piece, ideal as a writing desk, small office table, or side table.
