A beautiful still life "with pomegranates," arranged on a stone pediment, with a pomegranate split in half in the foreground, surrounded by other fruits such as apples, peaches, and small pears.
An old label is affixed to the canvas bearing the following inscription: "97–S. Pomegranates signed TDSSS/RDSNS”—to be identified.
The pan is signed in the lower right corner—also to be identified. The piece is in very good condition, with a beautiful convex gilded wooden frame with a patina and a lock (modern work). Please note: restoration (see photo).
