An 18th-century Venetian jewelry box featuring elegant floral motifs set against red lacquer, with gold and green decorative banding adorning every side; the four sides and the lid share this same decoration.
The box is in fine condition, featuring the bombé, serpentine, and contoured shapes characteristic of the Louis XV style.
The interior is coral-colored; while it shows some signs of use, it remains in good condition. The floral red lacquer has undergone some historical touch-ups.
The locking mechanism is entirely original.
The hinges are original and of a rustic style.
