Eighteenth Console Table, Black Lacquered, With Gilding
Very elegant 18th century Louis XV console table, the top of which is a marble decoration feigned in the taste of a breach.
The whole piece of furniture is in lacquered wood painted.
A fine gilded decoration accompanies the movement of the belt around its perimeter by a carved gilded border interspersed with only small volutes on the front; the edging falling in double circle along the legs to the hoof feet.
At the four corners of the cabinet at the top of the rounding of each base there is a carved gilded shell decoration dominating a rich acanthus enhancing this table a little more.
Furniture in good condition.
