"18th Century Email Message Case "
Pretty 18th century enamel on copper message case. Decorated with flowers in white reserves on a slightly pinkish background. Slightly raised white motifs frame the flower reserves in the style of the "bianco sopra bianco" technique of earthenware from this period. The condition is almost perfect and without restorations, just a few tiny firing bubbles but no cracks or other accidents. Perhaps of English origin but these objects were also made in France. In any case a charming, very old and rare case in this condition. Length: 10.5cm Diameter: 2.5cm
