Solid Silver Fish Scoop Early 19th Century

Artist: A Identifier
Pretty fish shovel with beautiful pierced and engraved decoration. The main motif is a fish, probably a pike. Original turned wooden handle in good condition. Good thickness of the metal, no weaknesses or restorations. Old man's head hallmark (1819 / 1838). There is also the hallmark of the goldsmiths' association for 1793 and the remains of a hallmark crossed out for an unknown reason. The master's hallmark is present and clearly legible and will be easy to identify. Total weight: 169 g. Total length: approximately 35 cm.
