The profile painted on paper is cut out and glued on a black background. This well-referenced and documented artist is the nephew of the miniaturist J.B. Augustin. Here the signature is accompanied by a delicate thought which suggests that the model is very close to the artist. Original mounting, frame and glass. Diameter: 7cm.
