Regency Chest Of Drawers Stamped "hedouin"
A very elegant Regency-period chest of drawers (first half of the 18th century), with a violetwood marquetry design.
It features three front-facing drawers and is topped with a slab of “royal red” marble. It is adorned with superb bronze hardware, featuring antique gilding with a light patina. The locks are original and operate with a single key.
This piece has been restored and refinished by us, so we are offering it in perfect condition.
Stamped “Hedouin,” for Jean-Baptiste Hedouin, a Parisian cabinetmaker who became a master craftsman in 1738.
