Regency Period Cartel Clock 130cm
Elegant Louis XIV / Régence period cartel clock, with brass marquetry decorations on a tortoiseshell background. The movement is signed "Champion A Paris", is original, and has not been modified (meeting wheel escapement and wire suspension). Beautiful bronze ornamentation, pale gilt, slightly patinated. Very good original condition, the whole having required only a light restoration. This beautiful and authentic timepiece has been restored and revarnished by us, and the movement has been revised and is guaranteed by a specialized watchmaker.
