"Pillot - Pair Of Shepherdesses"
Elegant and generous pair of 18th century shepherdesses, in molded walnut. They are the work of Pierre Nicolas Pillot (1748-1822), carpenter in the headquarters of Nimois, active at the end of the 18th century. The square section legs, decorated with a single roughened groove, as well as the deep moldings, confirm the stamps present under the crosspieces. The upholstery, the cushions filled with feathers, as well as the yellow velvet upholstery, are in superb condition. These are good quality seats, in perfect condition, ready to be used.
