The inverted truncated cone-shaped shaft is made of turned wood and lacquered in “rosewood.”
The base, made of metal painted “rosewood,” is also truncated cone-shaped but very flattened. The joint where it meets the shaft is made of gilded brass.
The original white opaline “tulip”-shaped lampshade and its socket are secured to the body by a stepped brass ring.
