Aviation Barometer / Art Deco Weather Station And Clock In Aluminum, Brass, And Bronze (circa 1930)

Art Deco-era desk ornament or weather station, featuring a bold industrial/aviation design. The piece is crafted from a solid aluminum frame, brushed and polished, and assembled with brass and bronze components.

This technically sophisticated and aesthetically pleasing triptych incorporates four measuring instruments:

Mechanical clock: Square salmon/copper-colored dial with typical Art Deco Arabic numerals; “8 Days” inscription at the bottom of the dial. Hand-wound mechanical movement accessible from the back.

Anerode barometer: Square salmon-colored dial matching the clock, graduated for weather forecasts (Rain, Wind, Variable, Fair, Very Dry).

Drum thermometer: Horizontal rotating cylinder protected by glass, graduated in degrees Celsius.

Drum hygrometer: Matching horizontal rotating cylinder for measuring relative humidity.

Three small screws are missing from the back.
The thermometer and hygrometer appear to be in working order; the rest has not been tested.
