A beautiful pair of elegant small mirrors in carved and gilded wood, featuring “rocaille” friezes and floral motifs in the Louis XV style.
The typical shield-shaped silhouette in the Venetian style enhances their grace, and their perfect proportions attest to the master carver’s stylistic expertise. They are in excellent condition, with the entire original back structure intact. The gilding in fine gold is splendid and exceptionally well-preserved.
They come complete with the original bronze candle holders, which can be easily attached or removed as desired.
