An elegant and rare ewer or cruet made of blown glass with iridescent decoration, likely produced in Bohemia during the Art Nouveau period, ca. 1900.

The piece features a globular body resting on a circular pedestal.
The upper part of the body is covered with silver motifs.
The long neck is accented by a filigree design in relief, overlaid with silver, and ends in a flared spout.

The glass, with its beautiful depth of blue, brown, green, and purple tones, displays subtle metallic reflections and an iridescence that shifts with the light. The upper part of the body is embellished with large applied silver inlays featuring stylized organic and botanical motifs, characteristic of the Art Nouveau aesthetic.

This combination of iridescent glass and a decorative metal frame evokes the works of the great Bohemian glassworks of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, particularly those in the stylistic tradition of Loetz.
