Flintlock pistol, lock signed FRANCESCO GARATTO BRESCIA, barrel by LAZARO LAZARINO

Barrel with square sections, then round, signed on the upper band LAZARO LAZARINO, engraved with a fleur-de-lis on the muzzle side and a lion’s head on the breech side. Breech plate engraved with line work and finished with a cut-metal iron fitting featuring a chimera figure.
Swan-neck hammer, engraved in half-round relief, signed FRAN.CO GARATTO BRESCIA, and with a guilloché screw. Trigger tail with openwork and cut-out iron decoration.
Counterplate made of openwork and cut-out iron featuring three chimera figures.
Engraved trigger guard, complemented by openwork iron decoration. Pommel with a long tail engraved with scroll-like chimeras. Screw set in a raised, engraved washer.
Engraved walnut stock. Wooden stock with an iron butt plate.
