Octagonal barrel, rifled bore, half-moon front sight; marked in two lines on the top: REMINGTON & SONS I ILION N.Y – RIDERS PAT. AUG. 15TH. 1871.
Tubular magazine under the barrel, capacity five 32-caliber extra-short rimfire cartridges, rimfire ignition.
Double-action operation.
Closed frame; wide trigger guard; all parts numbered.
Varnished rosewood grips (a few minor, insignificant cracks in the varnish)

Excellent condition. Original 99.9% nickel plating

Production: approx. 15,000.
