A Collection Of 92 Original Photographs From A Trip To Angkor Wat Temple In Cambodia, Ca. 1910
[Photographs] – Anonymous – Journey to the Temple of Angkor Wat (Cambodia).
A superb collection of 92 original silver gelatin prints (each measuring 118 x 87 mm), very neatly mounted at the time on 16 gray cardboard mounts (each measuring 440 x 310 mm).
These photographs document the journey of a very elegant woman through the heart of Angkor Wat Temple and its surroundings in the 1910s (according to the previous owner of the collection, she was reportedly the wife of an ambassador…).
A rare collection featuring excellent photographic quality, serving as a moving testament to the early days of tourism.
Most of the photographs are very well preserved
