It is abundantly illustrated (cover vignette repeated on the title page, 43 reproductions of the artist's sketches (31 in black and 12 colored with stencil by Jacomet) and 8 photographic plates each reproducing 32 glass bottles of his productions).

Maurice Marinot (1882-1960), born and died in Troyes, painter and art glassmaker. The Museum of Modern Art of the city of Troyes preserves many pieces of this great artist, thanks to the important bequest made by Pierre and Denise Lévy, industrialists and great collectors, very close friends of the artist.
