Beautiful Candleholder, High-quality Bronze Candlestick, Alphonse Giroux, Paris, 19th C

A striking handheld candlestick, also known as a "chambrière." Decorated in a neoclassical style, it rests on four stylized legs. The octagonal base features an open worked border of interlacing patterns and shells on each side, with the flat portion adorned with garlands of leaves and flowers, and fruits in the center. Next comes the shaft, topped by a free-form, double-curved plate fit with two candle holders. The handle ends with two guivres joining to form a clover. Point-engraved mark on the outer border: ALPH (Alphonse) GIROUX PARIS. 
Very good overall condition, though please note some wear and traces of oxidation. Please look closely at my detailed photos—I’m not hiding anything!
