Countertop Roulette Wheel, Known As A "turnstile," With A Pyrogen Base—late 19th Century

A countertop roulette wheel, known as a “tourniquet,” which used to be found on bistro counters.
The roulette wheel has a scale ranging from 10 to 25,000 and is mounted on a decorated cast-iron base.
On the back, sulfur matches can be stored, and a grooved scraper carved into the cast iron allows the matches to be lit by scraping, hence the name “Pyrogène.”
Everything is original; only the ball is missing.
