Art Deco-era Silver-plated Metal Jewelry Box, 20th Century
Rectangular in shape and featuring clean lines, this box bears the letters “TRM” on its lid, rendered in a typeface characteristic of the Art Deco aesthetic.
The white metal handle is a particularly elegant detail that highlights the overall refinement of the piece. The base consists of four slender rectangular elements arranged at the corners, echoing the geometric and architectural lines emblematic of the Art Deco style.
When opened, the interior is lined with blue velvet. It features several slots for storing rings, as well as two compartments designed for earrings.
The back of the box is covered in leather; its signs of wear suggest a certain age and may indicate that it is period-correct.
There are also some distortions at the corners of the lid.
