This very large earthenware platter fromRouen was produced in the 18th century; the redand blue high-fire decoration features a basket of flowers in the center of the platter, while theoutline is adorned with a wide blue border flanked ona frieze of geometric motifs. Highly decorative, thislarge platter has a small hairline crack and two or threechips along the rim.
