Marcelle BOTTON was born in Lyon in 1900. She died in 1978. She studied under Brunetton, Cabanne, and Léonie Humbert-Vignot at the École des Beaux-Arts in Lyon. She exhibited at the Salon of the Société Lyonnaise des Beaux-Arts, of which she was a member in 1931, as well as at the Salon d’Automne in Lyon.
