"le Besset, Allevard" Etienne Albrieux
Artist: Etienne Albrieux
Etienne ALBRIEUX was born in Annecy in 1891. He died in 1962. After taking classes with Tony Tollet at the Beaux-Arts de Lyon, he joined the Ecole des Beaux-Arts de Paris. Mobilized during the First World War, on his return he settled in Saint-Pierre d'Allevard, where he married. Enamored of the Belledonne and Ecrins massifs, he painted the Allevard area (Le Besset, Les Panissières, Pinsot) with his palette knife. This work is located on the back and dated December 1943. With its white frame, the painting measures 51.5 cm x 81.5 cm. Packaging, postage and insurance by Colissimo suivi are €60 for France and €70 for the European Union.
