A pair of lightweight, elegant chairs made of dark mahogany-stained beech, with seats upholstered in burgundy velvet, curved backs, and turned legs and slats.These chairs, which feature a rather rare pattern on their backs, are attributed to Fratelli and Levaggi, Italy, circa 1960–70.
Good condition: varnish slightly worn in places.
Seat height: 46 cm
The chairs known as Campanino Chiavari, renowned for their lightness, elegance, and sturdiness, were created in 1807 by Giuseppe Gaetano Descalzi in Chiavari.
Fratelli Levaggi is a family of artisans who have been crafting chairs in Chiavari since 1963,decline multiple models using traditional methods and materials.
