Saint-louis Crystal – Large Cut Crystal Pitcher.
Cristallerie de Saint-Louis – Large Cut Crystal Pitcher
An elegant crystal pitcher from the prestigious Cristallerie de Saint-Louis, a French glassworks founded in Lorraine in the 16th century and designated the Royal Glassworks under Louis XV in 1767.
This beautiful piece features a baluster shape resting on a circular base. The body is adorned with a rich cut design of geometric patterns, crosshatches, points, and stars, which particularly highlight the crystal’s transparency and brilliance.
The neck is punctuated by broad, vertical cut ribs, while the pitcher is distinguished by its large, elongated spout and its elegant crystal handle, which is very full and gracefully curved.
A high-quality decorative piece, characteristic of the craftsmanship of the Cristallerie de Saint-Louis.
Pitcher bearing the manufacturer’s mark on the base.
In very good condition.
