Large Soup Tureen And Serving Dish In Hand-painted Limoges Porcelain,

A very large Limoges porcelain soup tureen.
This exceptionally elegant piece comes with its serving dish.
The soup tureen, the lid, and the serving dish are decorated with lovely bouquets of flowers—each one unique—against a white porcelain background.
The set is embellished with foliage and scrollwork rendered in fine gold; the outlines of each piece are also highlighted with gold scrollwork.
The four feet and the two handles are made of solid gold.
The lid is topped with a magnificent polychrome fretel in the shape of an artichoke.
All of these decorations were entirely handcrafted and hand-painted.
