Decorative Plate In Limoges Porcelain, Grisaille And Gold Paste
Limpges porcelain plate decorated with different patterns painted entirely by hand and a chromolithographic center. We can therefore distinguish flowering stems, reserves with a blue background and cartridges decorated with scales, and finally, in the center, a charming decoration made in grisaille featuring two cherubs among sheaves of wheat. All this decor has been richly enhanced with gold paste. Note some small lack of gilding without incidence.
