Ovoid in shape, resting on a pedestal, with a flared neck at the top. Raised side handle.

HARD porcelain

White background decorated with bands outlined in gold fillets, one on a pink background and the other on a white background, with gold striations adorned by a garland of lozenges featuring fleurons. Garlands of foliage and gold fillets along the borders.
Gilded interior.

Mark: Unmarked—This cup can be attributed with certainty to the Darte Brothers Manufactory. I have, in fact, previously presented an identical specimen, made with a blue kiln-fired background and bearing the manufacturer’s mark (see the last photographs). This comparison unequivocally confirms the attribution of this piece.

Condition: PERFECT CONDITION, EARLY 19TH CENTURY, The cup and saucer feature gilding of very high quality.
