A George III sterling silver coffee pot, William Cripps, London, 1776
Of slender pear shaped form, raised on a circular moulded foot with a beaded border. Rich applied decoration comprising suspended swags, ribbon ties, oval pendants, and stylised foliate motifs. The swan neck spout is finely modelled and embellished with a beaded edge and foliate ornament. Carved and shaped wooden handle.
