Description
Bulging on both the front and sides, the commode features three large drawers veneered in contrasting woods, embellished with geometric diamond pattern marquetry and fine stringing. The top is fitted with shaped marble slab. Richly ornamented with finely chased gilt-bronze mounts, including rocaille and foliate corner mounts, sabots, a shaped central apron mount, and elaborate escutcheons and handles.
